The foundation of our technology is an Object Oriented Database (LiveOODB) with an XML-extended language - LiveServer Markup Language (LSML) which is managed by distributed server farms - LiveServer Enterprise. LSML delivers the ease of use of HTML with the power of full transaction based data access, without the typical overhead of a database development and management team. A typical HTML developer can be brought up to speed within a day and produce a fully transactional system in a fraction of the time required by a team of engineers.

Underlying Technology:

LiveServer Enterprise - Multiple PIII and P4 servers with Microsoft Windows2000 (Linux available in Q4 2003).
LiveOODB - Multiple PIII and P4 servers with Microsoft Windows2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 7 (MySQL and Oracle available Q4 2003).

LiveServer also runs on a local workstation, notebook or TabletPC, with a minimum specification of Windows 98 - although a number of extended features are available with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition.
The 3.5MB LiveServer footprint includes:

Object Oriented Database (LiveOODB Local)
LSML/HTML/Web Server (LiveServer)
Synchronization server (syncs with LiveServer Enterprise)
